Bev McConville is due to graduate later this year from The School of Creative Arts, Wrexham Glyndwr University. She has concentrated on the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, comets and constellations - all with a contemporary and modern twist.
Her work is inspired by the highly-polished and ‘in-your-face’ jewellery worn by film stars all throughout the 20th century.
Her pieces pay homage to the Hollywood films, when the women wore gorgeous over-the-top dresses, and the jewellery had to complete the ensemble.
Her pieces have an elegant look, with a modern twist. She likes to explain them as where traditional meets contemporary.
Any one of Bev’s creations, whether it is a delicate pair of earrings or a large flower brooch, would grace any jewellery collection. Each piece is created using Sterling Silver, gemstones or Swarovski crystals, handcrafted and finished to a matt or high polish.
